Anyone who would like to take a vacation with them (but not necessarily lead the entire distance) will enjoy the Amtrak's Auto Train. This is a unique service in the United States for those looking to travel on the East Coast. By operating federal passenger trains operating in the United States, Amtrak now operates Auto Train, which was originally a private enterprise.
There are some things to consider when traveling on the Car Tracker. With these in mind, you can plan your trip more enjoyable.
When you pick up the ticket, and on the day you leave the station, please have a photo ID on your person. Since Auto Train tickets must be in hand before boarding, be sure to pick up the tickets in advance. To this end, come early enough to allow time for unexpected challenges.

Cars, vans, SUVs and motorcycles are the only vehicles in Auto Train. The car must be up to 65 inches tall and at least 4 inches at the free height. The van or SUV can be up to 66 and 88 inches in height, 4 inches in height. Nothing can be connected to the roof of the vehicle. However, the bicycle rack bicycle may be placed at the rear of the vehicle. Motorcycles require up to 57.5 inches (including windshield) and 5 inches of free height. Only standard, pre-installed two-wheel motorcycles are required.
You will not have access to the vehicle during your trip. Please remove all necessary items from your vehicle before checking the loading. Please do not leave valuables in your vehicle. Vehicle alarm systems must be deactivated. If the alarm is exhausted while traveling, you may receive a dead battery when you arrive. Pack a package inside the vehicle. The Amtrak allows two passengers, so take your travel with you.
The trains are pounding and crunching, so always use the enclosed barriers when moving the train and wearing shoes.
When traveling in a sleeping car, bed linen and towels are provided to you, but taking into account your own cushion to make your trip more comfortable. Beds in the sleeping compartments comfortably move to the seats during the day.
You can bring your own meals, even if your meal is included in the fare. The rooms occupy a limited space, so they only take the indispensable elements.
