The Similan Islands are located just 84 km northwest of Phuket on the crystal blue waters of the Andaman Sea. The islands are popular with clean blue waters among tourists, especially among divers. The Similan Islands were equally popular because of low-lying formation covered with thick woods of ironwood and gumwood. The islands are home to many types of animals and endangered animals.
The Similan Islands contain ten small islands. The first island is Hu-Yong or Koh Nueng (Koh is Thailand's island). Koh Nueng has a white sandy beach and is the longest beach on all the other islands. This is the place for sea turtles for their eggs, and this is a good place for deep diving. The second island is Pa-Young or Koh Song. There is no beach on this island. So, this is just a good place for deep diving and snorkeling. The third island is Pa-Youn or Koh Sam. There is no beach on this island. Usually people call this island a "Great Wall" as a rock formation like a wall beneath the sea around the island. There are many beautiful fish floating around the wall, including barracudas. This island is a good place for deep diving.

Koh See has two main beaches. The first is located at the front of the Similan Islands National Park office. It has a very fine and white sandy beach and is 400 meters long. It is a good place for swimming and snorkeling. The second beach is located in the eastern part of the island. Tourists walk through the evergreen forests to reach this beach and provide a good opportunity to study the nature of the forest in the area. Koh See is a great place for snorkeling, deep diving, nature tuition, bird watching, beach activities and sightseeing.
The fifth island of Koh Haa. It's just a small island, but this is a great place to dive. This island has white gray eel, which can not be found on other islands. There are lots of coral on the island. This island is the place for a great diving.
The sixth island is Pa-You or Koh Hok. The island is full of rocks and rocks. The beach on the eastern side of the island is located in a wide area of coral. This is a good sport for deep scuba diving.
The seventh island is Pu-Sa or Koh Jed. This island is the location of deep diving, as its geographical area is ensured. There are many beautiful and colorful fish around the island. Tourists can see sea turtles and Sting rays.
The eighth island of Similan or Koh Pad. It is the largest island on the ten Similan Islands. The "Christmas Point" is well known for its deep dive site and is located on the eastern side of the island.
The tenth island island of Ta-chai. This island was announced to join the Similan Islands group on September 25, 1998. This island is also an amazing venue.
