Web Analytics – One-Hour Daily Book Review

I've just completed the book "Web Analytics; An Hour Day" by Avanish Kaushik. As a blog management and internet marketer, I always look for new books on this topic. This is one of the best books on web analytics.

As the title suggests, this book is about spending one hour a day to improve your site or blog by understanding and improving metrics. This book is written in an easy-to-understand manner, which is useful because this topic is very complex. The book can be divided into three main parts, the first describing the background and history of the analysis. The next section is about understanding the different indicators and the last part is about improving the results. The author presents very clear and relevant examples that help illustrate his point. I also like the book being organized and written in a way that you can easily find the information you need without having to read the entire book. My favorite part of my book when he explained that the most important thing to remember is that your site should always focus on the customer's experience. This is something that marketers often forget, and the author has done a great job of simplifying the key idea.

One of my criticisms is that they spend too much time on Google and don't talk enough about other search engines or how to get traffic to your site. With this I said that I still recommend this book to anyone with a website.
