The islands are divided on both sides of the peninsula of Thailand, including Phuket, Koh Lanta west of the Andaman coast, Koh Samui and Koh Pha Ngan, in the Gulf of Thailand. Of course, there is plenty among them, not least the "City of Angels" – Bangkok is certainly one of the liveliest cities in the world!
