Seychelles in Seychelles

If you look at the Indian Ocean map, you will immediately understand the distant nature of the Seychelles. This little archipelago is so far from any other land, many of which are considered to be one of the last places on Earth today to be worthy of the title of my lost jungle paradise.

Made of the islands of Praslin, Fregate, La Digue and Mahe, the Seychelles yacht charter hot spots that offer a variety of opportunities for those who are sailing on the coast as one of the most beautiful it has a beach. There are a total of 115 islands, most of which are uninhabited and useful for those who want to avoid more crowded water. The history of the islands goes back to exploring the first Arab seamen on the cross-roads. The first Europeans came into contact with the islands in the 1600s and at that time both the French and the British struggled to control. Finally, the British ruled over the Seychelles and was directed to them until 1976 when the islands won their independence.

Since natural soils are free of all natural resources, the Seychelles base has long been a tourist destination. This is because the country seems to be the target of recreational activities, as its natural beauty, landscape and lush vegetation cover it. The most important factor for yacht charterers is the privileged position of the islands in a meteorological way, since they are located outside the so-called cyclone, enjoying the benefits of calm waters and good winds throughout the year.

For a first time, a socialist regime, the Seychelles have long enjoyed democracy, and this is more lax right for the charter domain, making it easier to navigate foreigners and lift most immigration bans.

Today we are pleased to know that seafarers only apply to protected areas such as national parks. Entry into territories that include, or are observable, taxed or privately owned by private islands. If a yacht charter travels through such a region, you may have to ask questions in advance.

A charter cruise ship's main port is Mahe, the most important port in the country. However, the main port of entry or exit is Port Victoria. Vessels arriving in a private vessel must contact the port authority which will lead through the entry process involving customs, health, immigration and security controls.

As far as immigration is concerned, most foreign travelers do not have to travel with a travel visa when entering the country, regardless of their purpose. This is valid for 30 days, but if you think you need a lot more to sail on Seychelles, you can extend your original stay for a maximum of one year without visa. The only thing you will need is a valid passport throughout your stay. However, we advise you to take the passport with you for at least 6 months.
