GSP Rushfit, leader of Georges St-Pierre, is certainly worthy of the focus of attention. After all, he is the current UFC Welterweight Champion, and many believe that they are the best mixed martial arts (MMA) fighters in the world. "Rush," as his fans called, was born in Quebec, and has been named the Canadian athlete for the past three years in a row. St-Pierre is certainly right to recognize his name and image in the GSP RushFit home training program, but the program designer and St-Pierre instructor and partner Erik Owings are also fighting and fitness forces. He was born in 1979 in Kentucky He began his karate training at a young age. At 19 o'clock he began to study Brazilian Jiu Jitsu with the Carlson Gracie Jr. trainer. He studied for nearly two years, Owings went to the source and moved to Brazil to study at the famous Gracie Barra Academy where he reached the Jiu Jitsu brown belt rank. Owings also took time in Thailand and Europe. In 2006 he won his black belt from Renzo Gracie and John Danaher and has been training them so far.
He fought in five International Fighting League (IFL) matches. IFL is a now closed championship that ran from early 2006 to mid 2008. The Owings record reported 3 wins and 2 losses. While the IFL Owings competitor worked as a New York staff trainer, where he often worked in tight spaces by utilizing the weight and dumbbells used to develop the RushFit program. Part of the unique movements of the Rushfit program is entirely self-made. Owens said he enjoyed the challenging moves that St-Pierre is still in trouble with.
"Functional Ability" is an expression Owings teaches what type of training is taught and what RushFit means. Owings explained that it meant transferring fitness to real life, as opposed to working on a particular muscle group or body.
The GSP RushFit program was created when St-Pierre's manager approached Owing and said, "They were looking for someone to design a fitness program for St-Pierre. Owings, who has been working on what became RushFit, said that he simply grabbed what he had developed and intensified. Anyone who does not know RushFit is an extremely intense home training program that is even more suited to St-Pierre, which falls into the air in apparent fatigue after having been in many segments
. The founder and owner of the MMA and Fitness Center near Union Square. The gym is called Mushin Mixed Marshall Arts. Mushin is a Zen term, meaning "empty mind". This suggests that they are able to focus on the hyperfocus thoughts and energies. According to Mushin's website, Owings's "clients include professional and amateur warriors, CEOs and supermodels, including everyone." The gym became a little known to be a gym for Victoria Secret models. Somehow it seems strange to fit into this gym based on philosophical fitness gurus.
