Devil dogs, of course, are US Marines and martial arts that are being studied as MCMAP, the Marine Corps Martial Arts Program.
The army has long been interested in things like hand-hand combat, also known as CQC (Close Quarter Combat).
Initially, the Marines were mostly interested in bayonet-they were based on board ships. During World War I, the same techniques were used in the ditch, and the Marines began to develop more advanced combat methods to complement inventory techniques. ] Between World Wars Colonel Anthony Biddle pushed boxing, wrestling, acid, and fence to unite his hand with the military's combat tactics. During the 1950s, Sergeant Bill Miller was called d evelop as a martial arts training program, combining martial arts techniques such as karate, judo, taekwondo, kung fu, boxing and jujitsu. These earlier programs and methods were a powerful effort at the end of the eighties that the methods merged with the LINE method. LINE refers to Linear Infighting Neural Override Engagement. The military changed, however, the role of the warrior in the modern times widened, the method had to be changed and MCMAP was born. The MCMAP is the first method used by the military, which is actually on the belt. The techniques accumulate and try to handle all the ranges of combat. The MCMAP will start under the boot campus for seafarers and the Marines expect to continue their workout after the boot camp.
The program is combined with different leadership courses and military rankings and is one the problems that critics are pointing to. The notion that a person must have a certain rank over martial arts classes thinks that higher-ranking people get better tools to survive and lower rankings are therefore deterred from training for better life insurance

This is a very strong complaint and there is some evidence that some of these requirements are being dropped.
Other issues related to MCMAP are being tried in too many areas. An art that includes bayonets, ground fighting, fighting knife, striking, dissuasive techniques and so on, is scattered.
Thus, although the MCMAP has specifically changed the military and seafarers, it has to be done.
