Electronics is one of the 100 largest global brands, which is a decisive force in the electronics industry.

The company started in 1947 under the name Lak Hui. At that time, there was no electronics company, but rather a cosmetic and commercial business. Then, in 1958, Goldstar was founded by In-Hwoi Koo, the founder of Lak Hui. You need to know that Goldstar made the first radio in Korea. The letter of LG Electronics G today is the origin of Goldstar's origin.

In the 1960s, Lak Hui's electronics division expanded exponentially. By 1962, Goldstar radios were exported to countries such as the United States of America. In 1965, Goldstar manufactured the first refrigerator in Korea. Next year, Korea made the first black and white television. In 1968, Korea's first air-conditioning system was manufactured and followed in the following year. As shown here when the electronics were still known as Goldstar, it was already the pioneer home appliance manufacturer in its home country in South Korea.

In the 1970s, Koo Cha-Kyun took over the management of the company. Below it, Luk Hai's name has changed to "Lucky," which means the original meaning of LG L's letter. As the pioneer of electronics inventions, the first color television was produced in Korea in 1977. In 1978, our exports reached 100 million US dollars. In the 1980s, LG Electronics has used the LG initials Lucky Goldstar. It covered the whole decade as a whole. The first European subsidiary was founded in Germany. A color TV producer in the United States has been produced. It then opened a European standard VCR production facility in Germany. Subsequently, by the end of the decade, the company already had a sales subsidiary and a joint production subsidiary in the Southeast Asian region, having been established in Thailand. In the history of LG, the 1980s were known for decades of international expansion. LG Electronics, known as Lucky Goldstar, has sold cheaper household appliances and other telecommunications devices than Japanese brands.

In the 1990s, the company became more aggressive in the international market. At the beginning of 1990, an Irish design technology center was set up. In 1993, the Huizhou subsidiary was launched and its marketing on the Chinese continent increased. In 1995, Lucky Goldstar officially changed its name to Electronics. In the same year, they acquired the US-based Zenith company. In 1997, LG Electronics established a subsidiary in India. Next year, the company produced the world's first 60-inch PDP.

In 2000, LG Electronics launched a refrigerator that can be purchased online. They have also become a leading brand in LCD TV, mobile phones and computer hardware. In 2001, LG Electronics launched home appliances sold over the Internet. These were the latest LG Electronics washing machine, air conditioning and microwave models. This is also the market leader in Australia's CDMA market. LG Electronics also increased the export of GSM mobile phones to European countries such as Russia and Italy. In 2003 he became the world's largest CDMA producer. Then he joined the North European and Middle East GSM markets. LG Electronics is a dominant company in the electronics industry. Its subsidiary, LG Electronics USA, also operates in the North American market. From a small South Korean company in the 1940s, LG Electronics is now the global leader in the electronics market. Many households have their own product.
