Krabi's spectacular view
The spectacular Krabi province is located in southern Thailand with the clear waters of the Andaman Ocean and the outstanding natural beauty. Krabi's population is as diverse as the dramatic landscape, including Buddhists, Thai-Chinese and Moken, also known as maritime Gypsies. Muslims are also a major part of the population, especially in rural areas where most of them are. It is amazing that these colorful communities are able to practice individual beliefs, yet they live side by side in seeming harmony – an innovative example of tolerance and mutual respect that the rest of the world can learn!

Today, many people leave farms and fishing villages to take advantage of the tremendous growth in tourism in Krabi, and traditional life is gradually changing. Krabi locals are famous for geographic, open, friendly and helpful. They are famous for their incredible hospitality and provide a warm welcome to both tourists and foreigners who are permanently settled.
Krabi Expat Community
There is a prosperous foreign community of over 2,000 foreign citizens for a relaxed lifestyle, breathtakingly beautiful environment, low crime rates and a relatively low standard of living. This mixed team includes foreigners from Britain, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Scandinavia, USA, Australia and New Zealand.

Since Foreigners Do not Have a Huge Work Foreigners are creating their own business in Krabi and retire a great deal or live privately. Popular businesses include restaurants, hotels and villas, language schools and real estate agencies. Most jobs are provided by a number of international hotels, restaurants and bars, and some work as a teacher or diver training.
Many people take risks and work illegally. This is not recommended because a punishment that works or operates without a work permit in Thailand is usually a massive fine or sometimes deportation.
Expat facilities in Krabi
Are excellent in Krabi, which is another reason why many foreigners choose this part of Thailand. Krabi also boasts an airport with an international airport that allows regular and frequent visits to friends and family.
Although there are no international hospitals in Krabi, there is a local hospital that is perfectly suited for minor treatments and Most prescription drugs are available from many pharmacies. There is a private hospital with excellent reputation in Krabi City's many private clinics. The nearest international hospital in Phuket is just a few hours away by car. There are many dental practices in Krabi, but most foreigners usually go to Phuket or Bangkok for larger dental work. Most adults choose to send their children to the local Thai school in Krabi. It offers bilingual curriculum. There is also an international school that supplies nursery and primary school students and teaches a British curriculum.
There are a number of banks in Krabi, but creating bank accounts can sometimes be a problem for foreigners. Foreigners must have a non-immigrant visa, such as a work permit or a retirement visa. This should often be supported by other papers, such as a copy of the lease of a property or a copy of a lease if you buy property in Krabi. Alternatively, foreigners can withdraw money from their own account at a number of ATMs or use the international money transfer facilities available to most banks.
Expats will inevitably skip home comforts from time to time, for example, a favorite Beer or meal. In Krabi, they are able to satisfy their wishes with something familiar to the many authentic foreign bars and restaurants they consider themselves to be. Learning from the Thai language
Not surprisingly, one of the biggest obstacles to moving to Krabi, which is abroad, is a language barrier. Despite the fact that English is widely spoken in the area of tourists, most adult people try to master the basic vocabulary to order food and drink at least. There are several Thai language courses in Krabi, which are recommended for long-term residents. Speaking of some basic Thai help to integrate abroad and allow them to establish a business relationship and establish a friendly relationship with the locals. It's a fantastic way to get to know and be immersed in the extremely rich Thai culture. Moving abroad can be a challenge, but rewards generally outweigh minor inconveniences.
